Mid vs full width bumper

If you ever needed a reason for one over the other…

Full width would have prevented this damage likely but I still prefer the functionality of a stubby while crawling.

Dang, that’s a bummer! I don’t know if a full bumper would’ve helped unless it was one of those ARB “overland” bumpers with a bull bar and hoops all over it.

No I meant a full width steel. Definitely a full width plastic would have been toast.

You just have to hit them square in the center and a stinger helps...haha. I plowed one at about 55+ on hwy 395 just past June Lake at 10pm. Scared the shit out of me but nothing was damaged. Just some hair on the axle...haha.

My preference is a stubby,…better approach angle, less weight on the nose…

But for deer hunting, iI’d go full width with a stout bull bar….that way you’ll have more tie down points when you strap it down on the hood…
