Well, time has come for my move from GA to VA. I'm excited but my wife, Son and dog won't get up there till the 12th.. So I'll be staying with friends till then . The uhaul is slam packed, Jeep is full of gas(and so am I), Cooler is filled with coca-cola and 4 Monsters, got me some chef boyardi for the road, and all that's left now is get my suitcase in the jeep. Wish me luck. See y'all on the flip side !

Drive Carefully

I don't want to sound like the "Weight Police", but you share the road with ladies, kids and knuckleheads.
Your tow rating is 2000 lbs. I suspect that you are Wa-a-ay over that.
Just be careful and keep plenty of space around you. Drive slowly too.
Best of luck.

Caught the Bug
Just did the same thing in early May (U-Haul 6x12 trailer) with our 2012 JKUR from Arizona back home to Colorado. The Pentastar, 4.10's and stock size Trail Graps made for a relatively easy trip. Kept max. speed to 65 and for entertainment I watched the fuel gauge drop like a stone after every fill. We arrived in Evergreen, Co in the middle of the biggest snow storm since last year. Go figure! It's a big adventure. Enjoy it!

Well, Nearly 600 miles, over 10 hours, 4 mini coke bottles, 3 monsters, 4 ham and cheese sammiches, and 4 tanks of gas... I am home. Boy that was a long drive. Put cruise control on 60 and left it . The Jeep did well in pulling the trailer I might add, But my fuel tank did not appreciate it lol.

I was shocked as to how cold it was when I got here . 60 degrees . wow

Yes it was very long , it usually takes me 7 1/2 to 8 hours with no trailer or in the wife's car . but I couldn't go over 65 with the trailer . It would wiggle a lot at anything faster than 65
