I removed the poison spyder diff covers and reinstalled the stock ones for a week while i repainted the poison spyder ones. It gave me a chance to try out my new lube lockers. So far i think they are awesome. I was curious if anyone knows how many times that they can be reused?





New grade 8 bolts

Yesterday my Evo Mini Liners came in

I polished them up real quick and then installed them



I also added a JL Audio Bluetooth receiver because I didn't like the Bluetooth in my headunit. This has Bluetooth 4.0 which can transmit full CD quality instead of being limited to mp3 quality in earlier Bluetooth versions.

Nice! I will have to look into one of those. I don't use the iPhone Bluetooth for music because I can tell that the audio quality isn't as good compared to plugging it in. That makes sense. Thanks for sharing.

No problem. Btw JL offers 2 different versions - this one is $100 because it has controls on it. There is another one for $40 which doesn't have any controls.

I've reused mine 4 times so far on this set, but they are definitely nearing end of life. In general they go about 3-4 uses before getting worn down, but still actually work. I just like to change them to be on the safe side but they could probably go 5 or more if you really wanted.

I decided to change up the grille a bit by covering the black plasti-dip with a metallic matte dark grey. I also repainted the grille inserts gloss black.
