Does the compressor look like I mounted it backwards? The way I have it the wires are inboard and the screw on filters are facing out towards the door opening. Seems like it’s using up too much of the wiring harness to get to the plug on the compressor

I just mounted mine but with the filters towards the inside, so the cooling fans will be able to draw air better. That’s my theory anyways. It’s also made wiring a little easier, at least for me.

Well I did get the wire fished through there without taking the battery tray out so that was good. Just doesn’t leave much wire by the battery, I think the battery in my 09 is different than the newer ones

Part of the compressor. It sits between the two cylinders. It’s a cheap part, but will shut down the compressor if it goes. I keep an extra in the jeep

I mounted mine the same way. I also ran my wire through a drain plug in the floor instead of through the firewall. Has plenty of wire.

I hate to undo it now I’d have a hole in the boot in the firewall so I’m flipping the compressor which means taking the seat out again

Not the ball, I made adapters for the levers and a friend of mine laser engraved them

Not quite done, got them welded and filed down today and paint tomorrow
