Need some help here

What crossmember is that? Doesn't look OEM. I'm just trying to figure out if something has your arms too far forward to begin with.

Edit: I don't know whether the OR-Fab could be causing problems, but I would definitely look at that first.

I would specifically request photos of the mounts. I've seen shops screw up a lot worse than that! And don't even get me started on my own personal top ten installation blunders! :cussing:

I mean I'm not even mad, really I'm just trying to figure out what's going on and if it's going to cause any other problems at this point. I don't mind the extra stretch I just don't want any huge problems because of it. I am also planning on having the front double throw down put on in the next year so I'm not too worried about the alignment on the bump stop if it doesn't cause issues now

I hear you, getting pissed doesn't do you any good, and besides your second set of pictures appear to show the correct mounting locations... The only thing I can't see is whether or not they were able to bolt the bracket into the original factory mount (or what's left of it)... If the new crossmember pushed the mount forward it would stand to reason that it wouldn't line up to the factory hole. Other than that I am stumped. Did you previously have the brackets on the axle relocated for some reason?

Edit: You stated that it was the high clearance kit... I'm not sure my bolt hole alignment theory will stand to reason in that case.

The axle brackets are all stock. Looks to be due to the new crossmember. Being as it hadn't been installed before that's what it's seemingly coming down to..

Some vendors make offset coil mounts for stretch set ups. They are welded to the rear axle and used to compensate for similar things, eliminating rear coil spring misalignment. Not sure if that's exactly what you may need but worth looking in to if you don't find a simpler solution.

Sure. Absolutely. I have seen them in various lengths with some vendors who supply fab parts in case it ends up being something you may need. Hope it stays simple and doesn't get that involved. Good luck!

I hope so too! It looks as though everything lines up aside from needing longer sway bar links. But we'll find out!
