Nitto K spec trail grapplers?

I'm in the market for some 40" tire's and came across a set of 40" K specs. I know they are the race tire's but would I be able to run them on my JKUR? What's the difference between the DOT grapplers and the K spec?

Why couldn't you run then?

Is it a daily? They are really soft tires. Don't expect more than 10k-15k miles out of them.

Okay that was what I was thinking but wasn't sure. so I would be better off with a non-K spec trail grappler?
