A small group of us are headed to Boone, NC this weekend to run the Richland Road trail and spend some quality time with friends. We'll be there Friday night.. Run all day Saturday and some on Sunday...

Hope to see some pictures!! I was just up in Asheville and had the opportunity to ride Hurricane Creek Rd (Trail). While searching for info on Hurricane I came across Richland. I would love to get up that way one day.

I used to go snowboarding in Boone at App Ski Mnt quite often in the winter months when I was stationed in Jacksonville. Gorgeous area.

I'd be down for some group outings, but probably will be later this year once the weather is nicer. Looking forward to getting out to Uwharrie for the first time too.
