Off road trailer build

Thank you all. This was a great father / son project!! I will upload more images with the tent deployed this weekend.

Amazing!

That looks so great. My boys are only 7 and 10, but I think I now have the inspiration to start my own father/sons project. Nice work!

Looks GREAT!

I'm building a Bantam TC3. My build is on Expeditionportal.com, also a father/son thing.

Where did you get the tail latches?

Curious why you left the trailer open rather than creating a lid for it to seal out the elements? Looks sweet and I'm also on the fan bandwagon! :yup:

Wow, awesome build. I just picked up a 4x6 to haul my quad and would love to freshen it up. And maybe add more to it, is welding easy to pick up? So tempted to get a welder.

Great question JK_Dave, and I don't have a good answer!! We are looking into building another trailer with a lid and a few other design changes. But we managed and took cover under a tree when it rained for a hour

I grew up welding, so I would say "It's a piece of cake," but others may say otherwise. When I got older I took some mig and tig classes while I was in college which honed in my skills. Inexpensive way to learn.
