These were about every 30 yards…termite nests… my wife said everyone had holes in their floors…

My wife lived in both Ancon & Balboa…this is Balboa, and the white building with the red tiled roof in the center was the Panama Canal Administration building, where my wife’s dad worked from when he was the harbor master

The football field behind the Balboa high school where my wife’s bother broke his leg as a running back…he spent a month in the hospital in traction

The Union Church where she attended and sang in the choir

After walking down Ancon Hill, this ugly bird greeted us…

This was my wife’s old home…it was white back then and looked a bit different

And just around the corner, this was her friends house in Ancon. My wife hadn’t seen her old house in over twenty years, and her friend, who was born in the Canal Zone, hadn’t seen her old house in forty years…they were both a bit emotional when they came here…
