If you want to get rid of ants around your house or in your yard here’s an effective treatment. Spray some Taurus SC from a hose end sprayer at the rate of 1 ounce p/gal. Start around the perimeter of your home and work out into the yard. This product needs to make ground contact, water into the soil for best results. For spot treatments I mix one ounce in used gal milk jug of water and pour onto the mound. It doesn’t take a lot, one gal can treat several mounds. Your yard will be ant free for a year or more. I use Termidor SC but sounds similar. I mix in a spray bottle for exterior perimeter with great results. Fuck ants

good to know on both options, when I get back to TX, I need to spray, noticed more ants as I was leaving.

My last treatment must have worn off.

Same active ingredient (Fipronil) at the same concentration, super effective, nukes those bastards!

Lived in a lot of humid as hell bug infested areas such as Arkansas, North Carolina, Hawaii, etc and the only thing I found that REALLY works, and for an extended period of time is Diatomaceous Earth. Extremely cost effective, not full of chemicals and pet harmful substances. It was the ONLY thing I found in 28 years in the desert that would control Fire ants.

I have used this for years for pretty much everything around my house with great results. Used it in Florida too for termites.

Talked with the pest control guy I use for the houses I manage and he uses the same stuff.
