Currently -13 here (-31 windchill); and we have some sort of gas shortage thing now due to a fire at one of the pumping stations yesterday, so we've all been asked to turn our thermostats down.

That is insane! I had to look it up, but that is the point of where they even out. This is the coldest I have ever seen in the 18 years I have lived here. I don’t care to ever see it again.

It’s on a semi. Our company usually runs them for ten years. They usually have around 500k on them at that point, which is still low for a big truck. Ours are short haul delivery though so they get worn out a little sooner.
