PR44 axle seal leaking!!! Please help

So I've been running my PR44 for about 2 months and put about 2k miles on it. I did the fluid change at 600 miles. Since I've been wheeling it pretty hard recently I've notice the inner axle seal on the passenger side is leaking, not a ton but enough to leave the C wet. I have also noticed my pinion seal leaking. I notified the company of the pinion seal and they have shipped a new one but now the inner axle seal!!! What the hell? I bought the axle brand new and I bought it with confidence and desire to be able to wheel. What do I do?

First it's an axle leak not the end of the world.

Where did you buy it from and who built it?

Bought from an old forum sponsor and they installed the gears and locker

Sorry, that sucks.

That's why you let axle specialists build your axles, not golfers.

Sucks. Yea make northridge fix it and hopefully this time they can get it right for since they clearly didn't the first time.

That sucks man. Hopefully they will make it right for you. Definitely will have to remember not to buy axles from them!

To make it clear that this axle was not built by Dynatrac and bought through them.

It shouldn't make a difference. I never said a name nor did I blame it on anyone. I've been in contact with dynatrac and the place that I bought it and it's being taken care of. Both were more than welcome to take care of the issue. There was no need to bash anyone

Meh, it is helpful to let it be known who installed those axle seals. In this case it is "installer error".

Your first post was a shot at dynatrac. They had nothing to do with the assembly of your axle. It needed to be made clear that the issue was NOT dynatracs.

It wasn't a shot at dynatrac. From what I've been told dynatrac installs the axle seals before the axle is shipped to the distributor. The only thing they did was install the gears and and locker and shipped it to me with the rcvs in a box.

So then either they screwed them up when they did the gear work and/or you screwed it up when you installed the over priced axle shafts. In the end none of it is a Dynatrac problem and is a distributor/you problem
