Hillz have you changed your side indicator/parking lights to a smaller size, by any chance?

yeah running a small LED one in place of the huge ugly OEM side marker. can't remember where I got them or what I paid but it wasn't much.

very similar to the ones from Amazon that SaddleTramp has posted a link to

Figured id post a progress pic. Fender chop done w/ led marker install. New bumper on and some kick ass project JK decals.

LOL!! and here i was just about to post up a link

Alright fellas, with the fender chop done, and the liners trimmed, i ended up with the area between the body panels exposed directly behind the front tire. Heres the area im talking about on Moby... Eddie, did you close that up? Just wondering if i need to redo my liner or if itll be ok getting mud, water ect slung in there. Ok actually idk which jeep that is, but its the one from the write up.

Caught the Bug
I like the idea of leaving a little bit of a lip myself. I think it looks better IMHO.

That has been my plan since my first JK. Maybe someday I will actually do it.

i personally would go with the 1.5 spacers as the wheel studs can be just a bit too long and prevent a flush fit. it's really hard to see or know if things are off but, if they are, this could lead to a spacer failure. the 1.5's will clear for sure. also, running high quality spacers are no different than running a set of aftermarket wheels with less backspacing.

not to jack this but i was looking at spacers, are alloy usa a good brand. they're hub centric like the spidertrax and look identical and are red instead of the blue or silver however theyre about 30 bucks cheaper a set

I never really got any feedback on this... and i know a ton of you all are running cut or aftermarket fenders. Is it a big deal to leave that gap between the body panels uncovered? (Behind each front tire)
