Pros and Cons of removing front plastic wind dam on front of Jeep

For those who have removed your front air dam... does water get into engine bay or is there dirt issues and things
just wondering as I live in deep puddle country

No that thing ain't really helping you out much.

You'll notice a slight decrease in mpg, as well as a bit more mud/dirt in your engine bay. It also helps keep water off the Rubicon swaybar disco motor, helping it last longer before going kaput.
