Kapt I tried this when I was in Peru. Our tour took us to a weaving community thru Ollantaytambo on our way to Pisaq and Macchu Pichu. The owner served us lunch - Guinea Pig is served to VIP's (she also had Chicken). It just tastes like duck! (Bet you thought I was going to say Chicken LOL) Personally I preferred the Alpaca which tastes more like Beef. But it was an honor to have them share this with us.
