That's the quick and dirty answer. External hard drive prices are pretty reasonable in the 500-750gb range.

Cheep and easy, that's what I like. I think my phone has more memory than my computer. Thanks for the help yall

Ok so my comp. Says very low disc space and my son said get an external hard drive. Is this the way to go , its a laptop and old . It wouldn't let me work on the pics from the trip.

don't store porn on your windows partition, get an external drive but move other stuff over to it editing photos from an external drive is ridiculously slow. So move other content to that drive.

I saw that one but that's a little extreme for me and went with a Toshiba 500 gigabyte. That and I didnt want to spend 100$ . Now if I can figure it out I can get my pics and vids done.

I am a little slow with all this new shit although its probably not that new. I didn't have enough space to install the hard drive lol. I ended up deleting the rausch folder that started the whole episode and it worked. Luckily I didn't delete my card.

'Install' the hard drive? :ahhh-what:

Don't install any of their proprietary crap. It's a USB external hard drive, right? Just plug and play then drag and drop.

Do I create a bootable usb flash drive?

Sent from my SPH-L720

Nope. Cancel out of everything. The drive was probably formatted in the box with auto run software, so just try to open it from "My Computer" and treat it like you would your internal hard drive. If it keeps trying to auto run an install program, right click on the drive and select explore.

Disclaimer: I am giving generic windows OS advice assuming you are running some version of windows & a plug and play USB drive.
