Rear diff cover

Looks great. How did you do the paint? I'm considering that cover for my front diff and definitely want to paint the spider. Did you mask and spray or use a brush?

Funny you should say that. When I installed mine I researched on what to tighten them to to and had about a dozen answers. I don't remember what I went with but I had no issues and has been on for almost a year without issues.

Yea, if I remember right I went with like 27 ft-lbs or something. Read about a lot of broken bolts though is why I asked.

Thanks for posting the update on the new cover. I pealed the rear on the bottom at Moab a couple of months ago, so been searching for a solution after I read the PS covers had clearance issues. Two covers are now on order, so problem will be solved very soon...
