Roc Trac 4 to 1 Rebuilt Transfer Case for 2012 to 2015 Jeep JK 3.6 - For Sale

Steve Williams

Caught the Bug
Transfer case has been rebuilt and ready to go. Zero miles since rebuild. Part number is 52123503AA Model NP241
I bought it to upgrade my Sport it but it’s the wrong part number for my 2011.

I'll let it go here for what I have in it. $2400. Located in Tucson/Vail AZ. If you're in Phoenix I can meet you halfway. I'm not familiar with shipping large heavy parts.

Not to shit on your thread but you can buy a remanufactured with a 7 year warranty for $1800. You’re about $1000 too high.

I’d love to know where partner. I looked for weeks for my 2011 and finally found a salvaged case with 100,000 miles for $2000. When I got the estimate to rebuild it they were estimating about $3000. I’d appreciate knowing.

Damn, for 3k you could buy a new Atlas.

I'm curious what this is supposed to fit on. It won't fit an 07-11 auto or 07-17 manual because the input shaft is too short to engage.

It also won't fit the 12-17 auto because the transfer case input was switched to male in those years.

And just for fun it also won't fit a GM transmission swap because the input shaft is too short.

Not trying to ruffle feathers. Just curious what this case is for. Maybe a TJ?

And before anyone asks, yes I have a lot of jeep parts in the shed.

No feathers ruffled, guess we have a mystery. I was just going by the part number. 52123503AA (which is on the tag) is shown as a 2012 Roc Trac by CarPartSource.com. It was sold to me by a local guy here in Tucson who thought it would fit my 2011. It clearly didn’t so I bought a salvaged 2011 and upgraded my sport. Any ideas?

I'm really not sure. Unless it was rebuilt and the input shaft was not installed correctly it doesn't appear to be jeep to me. IDK if something like the ram power wagon uses a Roc-Trac.

On a JK the input shaft should protrude about 1-3/8" past the face that the mounting studs are in. It looks like the case to an 07-11 auto / 07-17 manual in all other aspects.

Thanks for the info, I‘m to sure what to do. Maybe show it to a local shop and see if They can make sense of it. I know it was rebuilt by a shop in Florida but it was a while ago.
clearly I’ll take it off the market until we figure something out.. Thanks again for the intel. 👍🏼

Do you have all the missing parts? Most of the bolts around the main seam are not installed in the picture and the rear output seal housing is missing.

I would definitely try to find a local 4wd shop and see what they can figure out.

I do have the bolts and a box of parts, I’ll check On the housing. My local shop couldn’t help me, maybe a tranny shop, I’ll check it out.

Here’s what the input shaft on my spare looks like fwiw
