Well I'm deep into the clutch replacement project. It's been slow going. A lot of the bolts were really stuck on. So I am just about ready to disconnect and drop the transmission.
I did drain the transmission fluid...no surprise that it was somewhat dirty. The surprise came when I found two small screws in the fluid. They were completely intact. The magnet had nothing unusual..no chunks just typical small shavings. So I guess I was lucky.
My guess is that the screws came from the new B&M short shifter I installed a couple of months ago.
