Sagging tailgate on my JKU

I noticed today that my back tailgate is sagging a little. I changed out the stock tire carrier for the smitty built pivot style. Any idea on how to get the tailgate back into alignment. I have 35" tires.

Some pictures may help to see where exactly it is sagging. Then someone may be able to help you out.

Loosen the bolts on the hinge. Readjust the gate with a 2x4 or something underneath it, then tighten it back down.

This!!!^^^^ If it doesn't fix the sagging your holes may have been stretched a little (no pun intended). Time for a new carrier!
