Shock advise

I'm in need of new shocks now rather than later like I had planned. I'm running stock shocks with extensions with my budget boost, 2.5 front and 2.0 in the back of a two door JK. I'm looking to get Rancho RS 9000 or 7000. Looking at them online, they come in 0-2 inch lift and 3-4inch lift option. Unless I missed something.
I'm wanting to get 3"Evo plush ride springs in the near future. I don't want to buy shocks twice. Will I be ok with the longer shocks short term. Wasn't sure if these springs give 3" true lift or if it netted more than advertised. Or do I need to look at some 2.5 inch inch springs from someone else???

I'm running the 3" plush rides and they give a true 3" on a 4 door. As far as the shocks, I had the same exact question a while back as I wanted to go with the 9000s and if I remember correctly Rancho said to go with the 0-2" option but don't quote me. Hopefully Rancho will chime in with more accurate info
