Show Off Your Guns!

Yeah, but there’s a new one. I’ll look for it and will post it up.

Edit:
Not a new one, it’s the 2023 one SB452.
So the states AG can just determine the technology exists and is viable and just like that no firearm without it will be allowed to be sold in commiefornia? I hope every manufacturer boycotts the state. Sorry we won’t sell to you what civilians cant buy.

More and more companies just won't do business there. The state government has literally canabalized itself.

What do you CA guys think of the ruling on semi-autos now needing micro-stamping… again! Affects all new handguns beginning 1/28. I assume there’s going to be another lawsuit to hold it up but, shit, this state can eat a big bag of dicks.
These f’ers are just throwin out new Bills to see what sticks and bankrupt 2A organizations fighting these BS laws.

So wait, he is shoving a screw into the trigger assembly so it is partially depressed?

All I know is my P320 has never gone off on its own. When I do holster it (which actually isn’t often all), the kydex holster I use doesn’t touch the trigger in any way (retention is from the light, not the trigger guard).

I’m also curious to know how many P320’s are out in circulation versus how many claimed spontaneous discharges there have been. I’m by no means a firearm expert, but there is so much attention on this that it’s hard for me to believe real firearm experts and testers couldn’t have repeatedly proven the issue (if there is one) by now.

Honestly, this all feels a bit like “sell your Jeep because they all catch on fire and blow up” to me. But again, I could be wrong.

And hasn’t the flux been pretty much universally applauded? Isn’t it functionally the exact same thing as the P320?

I ordered a P365 xmacro Friday to replace my P320. Love the gun but I’ll wait for Sig to come out with some news that indicates it’s either “fake news” or there’s a fix.

I’m 50/50 in believing it could be hype or a real issue. That said, with guns, I’d rather err on the side of safety.

Also it’s a great justification to get another gun lol. G43x coming up next. 🤣

The idea of the screw was to engage the trigger about 1mm and take his finger out of the equation so no ones doubts it... it also simulates a possible worn out trigger spring or maybe the trigger being out of spec. It's insane that it would fire with that little of a trigger pull... most pull the trigger to the "wall" then fire the first shot... That in itself can be deadly with a 320. I think his test clearly shows how that gun is a POS.

what if he's replaced the trigger with a lighter trigger?
I don't know, but how many scenarios are there where the trigger is partially engaged when holstered?
Are there holsters that catch the trigger and cause the pressure he is showing when holstered?
I don't carry, don't use holsters.
I'm seeing the accidental firings are with holstered guns or have I missed something

A holster should NOT touch the trigger. I think all it proves is The gun is Trash.

I love my P365 and it’s my carry gun. The P320 stays in a safe for range days and plinking suppressed. But I’m with you, I’m interested to see some repeatable proof of the problem and I definitely treat my P320 differently.

No, it shouldn’t. Hardly means some don’t though. I’ve seen plenty of Kydex use the trigger well as the retention point such that trigger contact is possible if the fit of the firearm isn’t great.

I’m sure there are plenty of people messing around with the springs, bar, trigger, etc. Funny (not really), but the only accidental discharge by a person I personally know is a guy who thought it was smart to run that light weight on his 7mm hunting rifle. He forgot to put the safety on and when he “set” his rifle on the other side of a barbed wire fence the rifle went off. He almost took his own head off.

A lot of these accidents are happening in Safariland Duty Holsters... There is no way those touch the trigger... The problem in my opinion is the design of the gun... 1. There is no trigger safety like almost every other Striker Fired Gun... 2. The safety plunger design is retarded. They use these small parts in a tight area that if tolerances aren't absolutely perfect.. it's fucked.

Besides still not having a trigger safety, at least they were smart enough to change the safety system on the 365 to be more "Glock Like". Why, because they probably knew they fucked up on the 320.

They tried to re-invent the wheel with the 320, they wont admit it's a bad design, won't take responsibility and now people are dying because of it.

There is a big difference between “safer” and “unsafe”. Regardless, like I said, I have no issue getting rid of my P320…I just need to see enough hard evidence that the design is inherently unsafe. I am still curious why the Flux is so popular though when it is the exact same system.

As for the Glock style two piece triggers, I can’t stand them and that is not likely to change. Not hating on the platform, I’ve just never liked the way Glocks have felt in my hand or to shoot.
