How do you like your Eotech? I really love mine, it works awesome with the quick disconnect magnifier in front of it.

However, my AR-10 has been shooting so good, I just pulled the Eotech and threw a leupold vari-x onto it to see how tight I can get a 600 yard group. I guess now I need to get a flat top for my 15 so I can mount the Eotech on it.

I like my eotech a lot I've got the eotech magnifier for it to and it's great. I prefer running it on my ar-15 instead of the ar-10 cause I've got a 4x16x40 Nikon M-308 scope for it and long range is a lot more fun with the 10 then the 15 ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1425505644.034819.jpg I just built this AR-15 for long range with a 3.5 lb trigger pull this shoots like a dream 1inch groups at 100 yards. Would love to shoot farther but we don't have a range around here that is past 100 yards

If you're training those guys, get them to practice their stance.
The way they're standing is a mistake a lot of people make because it helps centralise the weight of the rifle, but it's wrong.
Get them to carry the weight forward and lean into the rifle, lead foot pointed almost forward and rear foot carried at 45-80(approx) degrees to the line of aim.
More weight is carried on the forward leg (which I carry slightly bent at the knee) than the rear.....gives you more control during recoil.
The way those young people are standing will mean their body tends to pivot around the rear foot, unsettling their balance and making follow up shots harder to bring onto to target.....it'll also increase felt recoil.

Hey, just a suggestion....... :)

Much appreciated! We spent most of the time drilling safety, gun mechanics and then getting them to relax breath and not flinch.

If you have some snap caps in rifle calibre, a great drill they can do at home is to practice their stance, breathing and dry firing.....they'll easily be able to see the barrel movement associated with trigger jerking/flinch. That'll help them get the feel for controlling the trigger. The stance will also help with flinch, too, as the recoil won't be as noticeable.
I started shooting competitively at 14 in military rifle shoots as a military cadet (using .303 Lee Enfield rifles), its amazing how shooting 60-100 rounds every 2nd weekend gives you a great feel for the sport. :)
I hope they enjoy it as well...... :thumb:
