Paint them, don't powdercoat them so you can touch them up later if you want.
If you paint matched to your Jeep's color, I don't think scratches would show up too badly. It's the dark colors that really stand out when scratched.
If you go the paint route and you prime them first, don't let too much time go by before you apply the paint. I waited a couple of days and the paint bubbled up so bad I had to sand it all off and re-prime and paint again.
Duplicolor sells factory paint match cans for a reasonable price so you don't have to go with the Mopar cans that are more expensive and you get less paint out of them.
