Slide pins

Getting ready to do brakes and was wondering what’s the best grease for the slide pins? I heard u need to use silicone based grease due to the rubber. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Go to auto parts store. They all have packets of the stuff for cheap at the checkout. Nothing special.

I use the black grease in the little can by crc

I’ve had good luck with this brake grease. It seems to last the longest. I still end up regreasing everything at every oil change. Blasting all the mud out of my brakes regularly, depletes any grease on the shims quickly.
