speedo gear change

Hello folks, i have been thinking about making my speedometer correct considering my 33 inch tires have been added since my TJ was stock.
My question is my Dana 44 is stamped with 3.73 gears, however the Jeep build sheet says it has a Dana 35. Nope not the case its a Dana 44 from the factory. My jeep must have been built while Dana 35 were short. Due to the supplier (Lucky me) do we know if the Dana 44 actually came with 3.73 gears in it? Could this be accurate? I will realy matter when it comes to the proper toothed gear for the Speed o. Any body have knowledge about factory 44s?. Thanks

Don't have that info, but if you really need to find your gearing ratio you could always-
1) count one full revolution of your tire vs your drive shaft when you spin it.
2) open the diff cover and count the teeth of the R&P and divide the two.
