I once had a '41 command car carryall.
It shared many lines with the one in the pic, but was longer and more suburban like at the rear instead of the trunk looking thing.
The fenders seem off though, and the hood and grille are close but seem a bit different as well.
I wonder what it really is?

That is really nice. I have always liked suburbans, my dad went through a few growing up, albeit late 80s models but loved crawling around them as a kid.

Saw three FJ's at a specialty car dealer today.
This one was listed at $51k
This one has a 383 Chevy small block in it.
And my favorite. First FJ43 I've seen in person. If I wasn't in the middle of doing a total makeover on Gruff, this one may have tried to follow me home. :drool:
