The BEST Internet Expert Advice I've Been Given

I’ve broken both regular and impact sockets and while one is designed for increased strength over the other obviously, it’s just true that sometimes a thinner walled socket is needed like others have mentioned.
like when installing the front bolts on a JL oem knock-off front steel bumper and mopar winch plate with Warn winch and those damn front bolts were made to be installed by the same Chinese labor children that made the bumper.

I was trying to get one shipped in to help install it but found a very thin-walled deep impact socket on Amazon, same thing but one more legal than the other I suppose. the regular socket was still too thick.

Unfortunately they went down that road and it’s annoying. And both of those companies don’t get along from what I understand lol
You understand correctly. The guy from Apex used to be RPM and sold but was unhappy with how they were doing things, or so he said and is now back in the business as their competitor. Needless to say, both are whoring out in epic fashion.

hmmm let's see.. out of the 3 companies Apex, RPM and Currie... who has the better experience and doesn't need to promote with an "ambassador (social media whore) program?
All I can say is that I've tested out Currie and now RockJock for over 2 decades and I purposefully choose to still run them over what's popular on social media. But then, what would I know.

I run the Currie/RockJock steering on my XJ. Had it for 18 years. Replaced the ends once.
As you so aptly put it in a thread title...People Suck! They blindly buy/do whatever their favorite "influencer" says is best and then try to convince everyone else to do the same just so they can feel good about their bad decisions!
