Works pretty good. I get a little bit of white out right in front of the jeep. But once the tiers start climbing rocks, I can see better and farther out.
I put a box about a foot directly in front of the tier.

I've actually been really surprised at how clean it stays. It's been through slot of dust , mud and brush in the last six months since it's been installed. I wipe it off when I'm under doing oil changes, that's about it

I'm sure it would be. I think some of them that have factory reverse camera, also have a second video auxiliary for front. But I don't know for sure as I don't have factory nav

Yeah this basket is a injected mold plastic/ABS super light. I think it was saying they started doing it to shave weight, also so it doesn't transfer a impact as much as the steel basket. Or something along those lines.
