Been an active member for a couple of years now and the forum has been basically issue free for me until a few weeks ago. I don’t still have it it but I had sent Eddie and Cindy a screenshot that appeared as though I had been banned, or never joined, or something to the effect. Basically said my account was awaiting Admin approval. Lasted about a week and was resolved to where I could post and reply again.
However, since that time, I am now getting 40-50 emails a day for every reply to each thread that I watch, which is only a handful. I no longer get the little dot on the bell when I have a new alert, just tons of emails.
You can see in the screenshots I have every option unchecked other than “show online status”.
I never got emails until my account access was restored. Always got the alert notifications up top.
Any ideas or suggestions from those who are savvy with this sort of thing?

I would like to still get the alert notifications up in the banner, but no emails, if that helps.
Also, when I click on a thread that I’m actively on it takes me to the first thread post, not where I left off…
 
I am clueless, but my first impulse would be to enable everything, then save, disable everything not wanted, then save. This might flush the bad juju.

you've got everything set to push, change it to alert

I think that you are on to something. For every enabled 'push', mine has 'alert' checked as well. But Ace's are not.

It seems like if you disable 'alert', then you can't disable 'push' (all of his 'push' are enabled but greyed out as if he can not disable them).

I don’t believe so. I have everything unchecked as shown.
And I’m not aware that I would have two accounts. I only created one. Unless something happened a couple weeks ago when I couldn’t interact at all.
 
I just started looking into this and so far, I can't see anything obvious on the back end to cause the problem you are seeing. What I can tell you is that if you had selected to receive emails in the past and have recently turned off the option, all the past subscriptions will still come through at email notifications. ONLY new subs will not come in.

That said, at the bottom of your email notifications, you should have a link that will allow you to remove yourself from those subs.

And, if you look at the top of the forum, there is a link for "watched" threads that you can see what all you are subscribed to and you can un-sub from there as well.

Thank you. I just did the first suggestion.IMG_0144.pngIMG_0145.pngWe’ll see if that fixes the email issue.
Is your second pic from a desktop or phone? It doesn’t appear like that on my phone, and I rarely if ever use my laptop for the forum.

push is generally associated with email, it an always-on system that sends (push) the email to the user when certain requirements are met or subscribed to.
