I think that mount is for a mirror, like on a rig, or old rusty chevy farm truck.

I think most people use a tailgate mount like this

Most of the time this type bolts to the tire carrier.

I got the evo antenna mounting bracket in today and bolted it up. I'm just waiting on the rugged ridge cb mount. I'm hoping this weekend I can have the whole set up done and ready for the next wheel.

Got the nutsert tool in today. Hopefully I can get the cladding finished in the next day or so. Thank you jeeep and everyone else who help me with the xrc cladding info. Much appreciated.

Finally got it done once the correct rivet nut tool came in. You can see one side is messed up and missing bolts. That's the side I did with the supplied "tool". (aka nuts and bolts). Advise. Don't use those. Buy the actual tool. Of I didn't use my jeep as a toy the one side missing bolts would bug me. But I know there is carnage to come so I can live with it. Overall I'm satisfied with the protection I. Now going to have. Thank you all for the advise.
