I didn't even bother to look closely at the pics and just assumed they were deer like always.I will edit that now
Yup, taking the time to look more closely at the pics, the coloring and build looks like elk to me and they're bigger than the deer we had been seeing.

That's pretty awesome though! Were you guys aware that there was so much wildlife up there when you bought it?
Oh yeah. It's a big part of why we wanted the place. The area is a HUGE hunting destination and during season, it's not uncommon to see just about everyone in town dressed up for the occasion. The previous owners actually led hunting trips and used this property as a base camp. We figured if nothing else, we could fix up the place and make it into an ABB.
We'll definitely have to have you out to visit if nothing else

Yes! And I should note, the app shows that it's always at 100%. Granted, I do have it sitting up high on a pole and facing south and without any obstructions from the sun so it gets a good charge each day.
