Track bar mount fail!

Ok guys last week this happened



I got this welded and looks like this




I'm planning to paint and install the synergy bolt on and maybe weld it as well.

Question is, since this HD bracket mounts to the original axle bracket do you think I'll have problems in the future? Is this a good solution or should I cut it off and install a purely weld on??

You should tie the new bracket to the axle as well as the stock bracket or it will still only be as strong as the one weld

Yep, that is exactly what I'm planning to do, thanks for the input.

Just want to avoid it failing again

Artec makes a great stock replacement piece. 1/4" plate and the fitment is spot on. Shouldn't be too costly to have welded on.

hah, I dont post much so I sort of forget its there. Plus I still find it pretty amusing.
