Not sure if this will help you, but IF they had a steering angle sensor code, here's how to do a self-adjust for a lot of Chrysler vehicles: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xi9_29FFQVs. I just ran across this on another vehicle. Not sure if this will work for yours but worth a try. If he keeps coming on, you could have a sensor/clocking issue. I'm still not buying that 'you steered too far.' If there was a steering related code, the pcm probably just recognized something out of correlation when you turned and set the code. I love it when the manufacturers trying to pawn on their issues on the driver.
