Did you check out the 8.8? I blew the 35 in my old yj and went with the 8.8. I got mine through ECGS. Good little axle. Same width and bolt pattern as YJ too. Can get them cheap at junk yards.

Yeah I have considered the 8.8. But I'm getting a really good deal on the 44

I want to ask you a question ..
Have you 4" rough country kit?
Has it good flexing?
On road? Is it soft?

Yea it has a 4" rough country lift. Well just the leafs and shocks. I ditched the trackbar and swaybars.

It also has 1.5" boomerang shackles. It flexs amazing for a YJ and is smooth on road. ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1452093903.741801.jpg

I picked up a Dana 44 and a Dana 30 with 4:56 gears. Now I have to strip them and put the spring perches and new shock mounts. I'll get pictures soon.
