Not sure if you ever see snow, but I have had great luck with them on about ever surface. The siping is great on ice and slick rock. I do not have experience with puncture resistance though. Good luck.
Not much snow around here. There was a light fall (6 inches) in September near Stanthorpe which is a couple of hours from my place but it was the first time since 1983! There is plenty of sand and mud though
