It's done. Warn HD and a Warn JK factory bumper winch plate installed.

I was going to chime in, but I see it's too late now. I was facing the similar dilemma of not being able to spend the money on upgraded bumpers just yet so I ended up picking up a universal plate from Harbor Freight for $40 and cut it and my stock bumper down to fit. I've got it mounted straight through the frame rails with 4 grade 8 bolts. I've used it to recover several people on trail runs and it's been holding up great. Ended up spending about $210 all in because I found the winch for crazy cheap. It was a pricing error on a site and I jumped on it.

Great find. Looks like it sits nice and low too.
This one takes up a lot of real estate in front of the grill.
