I use my smoker a lot and have tried many rubs. I was just curious as to what you used as I have never really put a rub on a good cut of steak. I may have to try it. Thanks

Pork shoulder is working, ribs will go on in about 4 hours. BBQ sauce is started as well.

Do you find that the chips burn up too quickly? I use soaked chunks. 3 wet and one dry.

No not really. I smoke fast though since I use a charcoal grill. So I smoke heavy and then finish them wrapped in foil.
