Welcome. This forum is the one stop shop for anything you want to know about JK's, and the advice is always very friendly.
Most tracks in the Australian bush have now been rutted out by 35" tyres as these are the most popular tyre used by offroaders here now. I'm currently running 33's and a 4 1/2" lift, and am constantly faced with tracks that are out of my league.
Good luck with your choice of lift and tyres, it's hard to stay legal and still have a Jeep which is able to get you through the popular tracks.
