This^^^ or at least trimmed factory flares if money is an issue. Ran the Rubicon with a rig that had the PS aluminum flares. We both ended up going hard into the same rock on the divers rear. My fender flare folded... his quarter panel folded.

I don’t think any fender is impervious to damage...but the soft fenders don’t transfer impact force to the body panels, not to mention the weight savings..I also like MCE’s, got them on three different jeeps...

True. My fender is a bit thrashed but the body metal is fine.
