What is the most you ever had to spend on repairs...all jeeps included.

This is probably a thread best not shown to the wifey. I wonder what some of the members have to spend after a JKX trip to fix their rig.

I spent $20 on new rock lights after the 2012 JKX. Others weren't so lucky!

But there was the gas bill from the trip.

Yes I was hit by a big rig tire it came over the center divider on freeway and hit me head on. My jeep is half 2012 and other front half is a 2013

6-7k on a new/rebuilt engine after hydro-locking. Bout 500 parts and labor or so on new rotors and brakes after the wheel fell off at 50mph.

Holy crap!!! When I was 16 I had just left church and got on the freeway, not 1 mile in I saw something in the sky and thought hmmm... What's that??? I realized it with not a second to spare, jerked the wheel and just missed a tire to my face! I was lucky there was nobody to my side, because honestly I didn't even have time to look! By the looks of your photo, I think I would've just about died! It's something I don't think I'll ever forget, how small it was in the sky, and then how it grew, and all of a sudden zip, went bouncing down the freeway.. So fast!! I was going 70, and the tire, maybe 60??? That makes for a 130mph Goodyear! Scary stuff... Check your lug nuts people!!!

On my last off road trip a couple weeks ago I noticed the driver front axle seal was leaking. Figured since the axle had to be torn down why just replace a $9 part. Might as well C gusset, Sleeve and throw some Synergy Ball joint in while I'm at it. Needless to say a $9 repair quickly turned into $500+.
