What viscosity oil do you use

I'm perversely running 5w-30 full synthetic in my 2013 (not 5w-20)

62k miles, on my 12th change, I'm finding I'm around a quart low at change time now. Otherwise all seems well.
 
My advice...Stick to what the owners manual says and you'll be fine. My '09 has 102K miles..I use Mobil1 full synthetic and change it every 4,000 miles. The 3.8 uses a little less than a 1/2 quart every 3,000 miles. :yup:
 
newer engines on the market are probably designed for 5w20, built to reduce heat and oil bleed off. While I don't think it would affect the 3.8's as I'm sure it runs 5w20 just to meet CAFE regs. I would be concerned that 3.6 was designed for 5W20 and some components might have issues with trying to push through a thicker oil.
