couldnt agree more on there stoutness. was just curious as to why you chose that route and being different works lol. let us know how they work out bolted on :yup::thumb:
Can I ask what you did to prep the surface of the rings before painting them? I assume you'd give them a scuffing and then just hit them with primer.
It's not what I did to it...but what it did to meView attachment 92765View attachment 92766

Nice i did something like this in my YJ, was doing about 80 when 4wd dropped in and blow up the whole transfer case and lost both driveshafts lol! its not a crazy chance if you have normal tools you can do it. Hardest part for me what getting it off the transfercase, also did this on the ground!
I cleaned it with an SOS pad and sprayed the primer and paint. I didn't scuff them.
Last couple of weeks my jeeps been at LoonyToons shop. We fabricated a cage.
Fixed it
Looks great. When I move back home, I am hoping to put my brother's welder to work on one when he has downtime between jobs/tasks.
This week I installed 52 inch led light bar. It's a cheaper one and is noisy when driving but works great. Then a picture with both the 52" an the 21 "
I like that setup. What brand is the 52"
sent from my electronic leash...
