What was done to your rig this week?

lol ive been there with a ford pickup its rather a strange feeling when the tire is suddenly visible.

Oh yes it is a very strange feeling, one of those where you see it and your brain takes a few moments to figure out that that wheel is yours...

So I guess I can check this off on my list. I have up to now, Hydro-locked my engine, and now lost a wheel while driving. Have yet to break anything else!

Not to my rig, but for my rig.

Installed my Harken Hoister in the garage. Soft top is now stored out of harms way. 👍

My love for factory wheels will never die, but they were getting to be in terrible shape. So I got a set of TKO MB motoring wheels. I really like them more than factory now!

I've been contemplating putting mine up there too, did you get an adapter kit or did your mounting bracket just fit?

I used the bracket that came with the CB. It depends on what you're willing to do to mount it. If you don't want to drill into the dash, don't do what I did! Haha! I'm sure there are other ways to do it. I took the easy route.

Oh well I see with your 2nd pic that you don't have the pocket or whatever it's called above the head unit. I'll just have to play around with it a bit I guess

Correct. It's just flat up at the top there. Cobra has a small radio that fits snugly and discretely in small space. It's not a powerful radio, but works good enough in close proximity, such as a trail ride.
