Wheel Opinions

Unless I am mistaken the 8.5" and 9" widths in the 17" size have offsets of +10mm and -12mm, respectively. The 8.5" width will therefore have a backspacing of 4.89" while the 9.5" width will have 4.53".

I ran 35" Trail Grapplers on a wheel with 4.75" backspacing and added washers to my steering stops to keep them from rubbing the frame at full turn... 4.5" backspacing seems to be the safe bet for 35s. When I transitioned to 37s I also jumped to the ATX Slabs with 3.25" backspacing, so hopefully others with experience running 37s and 4.5" backspacing will chime in.
Ive got 37s and kmc wheels w 4.5bs. Works and looks great but do get slight rub at full lock on my lower control arms.
Add: they are 17x9

I don't mind those ATX wheels you've chosen, but look up the Pro Comp 2644 in Matte Graphite or the Black Rhino El Cajon? They would pair well with the graphite - just a thought!

On a higher price range, the Fuel Anzas would look amazing and match your color so well.

Excited to see your setup on 37's, it's going to look great!

Thanks, those Fuel Anzas definitely are a nice wheel. $232 kind of hurts though! I was able to find some pics of the ATX Ravine on a Granite Crystal Jeep and I'm really like the combo. Much better than my original photoshop job. Here are some pics:

The color match of the grey is much better than I thought it would be. Now if only someone would buy my existing wheels and tires so I could purchase these... :) Hope the trip is going well! Moving sucks!

The Anza's are definitely pretty spendy compared to the ATX's! But those look really good in the Graphite on your color

And don't worry, I haven't forgotten about you. I'm gonna touch back with you after I get settled in!

Need help reading wheel size. Here is the description from Discount Tire :

Screenshot_20170114-215908.png

If it's 9" wide wheel, and has - 12mm of offset (~1/2") than backspacing would be 9/2=4.5 -. 5 = 4" backspacing right? DTD said it had 4.5" when I asked in a PM so I'm confused.

At 4.5" I'm leaning towards a 12.5" wide tire or finding a different wheel so I can do 13.5" tire. At 4" I'm buying these with a 13.5" wide tire.

Hi. I have these in the graphite colour. Love them, I put spacers on but probably don't need them. I have the 17x9 with a 315/70/17 which is a 12.5 tyre.
Think I read th3 backspacing is 4.5 on these.

Thanks for the pic! Wheels look awesome, just wish they had less bs so I could run a 13.5" wide tire. So torn on what to do.
