More adventures through the San Juan Mountains today with a couple of buddies and their TJ’s. Amazing day full of beautiful sights and deep snow.

Yikes... grazed my front driveshaft on a rock.
Also managed to smash my skid pan in a good 2”

Unmatched views, the San Juan’s are gorgeous.

Define “pucker factor”
IMG_2253.jpg
“Pucker factor” is when you clench the seat covers off the seats.

Had an awesome time wheeling at Chokecherry today. When will you guys shoot a video over here?

No wheeling in this shot sadly... but look! I got a baby Jeep! Couldn’t pass on the deal, this will be funding a good chunk of mine once I fix a few things on it and it sells.

Perfect day in Moab yesterday despite spending 5 hours turning wrenches in the middle of Poison Spider. My buddy blew up his rubicon 44 front axle.

Axle shaft, U joint, and both ball joints decided to detonate!

We replaced the Ball joints on the trail, bandaged the steering, and limped her to the trailer in 2wd. Eventful day trip out there but it made for some great stories.

In other news, my Jeep will be going under the knife soon. Just purchased some new axles!

Great pics bud and sure wish I did more of that when I lived out there... had a chevy blazer at the time and we went North of Montezuma a lot through mining areas. My altimeter said 14000+ Good times! Thanks for the post:beer:

Pardon the absence, I haven’t been wheeling much as I’m preparing for a one ton swap on the TJ. Hope you enjoy.

High country access has been cut for me due to wildfires. Hopefully we get some moisture soon. The fire started at 10:03 am and has grown to 900+ acres by 5pm.

The has grown to over 2,500 acres, so no hope for the high country any time soon. This weekend we went to Chokecherry Canyon, awesome time like always. I wish more people knew about this place.

Fire is now at 23,000 acres and the San Juan National forest is closed. Night run planned for Saturday at Chokecherry with the Creepers Jeepers, other than that all of my wheeling trips planned for the summer have been cut off.
