Where did your Jeep take You this Week?

My Daughter and I took a Friday drive to a historic railroad bridge.
Her rules:
1. Jeep, no doors.
2. Backroads only.
3. Picnic.
4. Then... Ice Cream.

Built in 1905, Almost 1/2 mile long. Workers were paid, 13 cents per hour.
90 mile round trip, almost all county roads. So quiet, just the sound of the wind in the trees.
Perfect day.

That a girl !!! [emoji106]

Moments with children is time well spent!
Amen. Now, after spending my life in either a semi-truck or airplane, away from home, I realize I cannot get lost time back.
I hope to stop everything, to spend time with grandchildren, if I'm blessed to get some.

Came to Moab for a couple days on the way home from Colorado. No wheeling mama says. Hit up Canyonlands NP and Arches NP and the brewery instead.
We did take Shafer Canyon / Potash road back from Canyonlands. Nearly shed a tear as we passed the Poison Spider trailhead.20200927_135358.jpg20200927_135413.jpg20200927_151139.jpg20200927_153328.jpg20200928_143816.jpg20200928_151548.jpg20200928_201621.jpeg20200928_164055.jpg
