There are quite a few videos showing stock sports outdoing stock FJs. There is a popular Hawaii wheeling video showing just that.

He does have a point in reliability though. Toyota has way less recalls than our JKs have.

He does have a point with the whole out of box deal.

Stock v stock it would "keep up" with any wrangler outside a rubi.

Which would make the rubi the most capable out of box rig. (Since it's debut this has been the case.)

As far as crawling. No. I've owned an fj. It will not scale walls like my TJ does. Nor is it more reliable. In fact it's less, because I kept driving it like I drive the jeep. Which leads to parts breaking.

Fj is a knock off embarrassment to the old school "real" FJ land cruisers. They CAN take a beating. And are far more reliable. I've wheeled with some on 40s. And man they're a sight.

Yall are idiots! A stock FJ could finish KOH and still have time to spare to take a stroll up to carnage canyon without winching. That's such a fact that I was told Mel is looking to trade EVO1 at the dealership as we speak!

Must be for a used one.... even Toyota felt that the fj (fucking junk) was a piece of crap they discontinued it. .... so get them while they last. ..... lol

Sadly my brother is thinking in trading he's 2012 335i cupe for one FJ :,,,(
I told him. Noooooo! You're crazy, he was like the Toyota is one of the best off road vehicles, I lmao try to convince him in getting a jk but he doesn't want to he's looking in to the FJ :(


Let's pray together so this doesn't happen.

I'm not joking this happen around 1.5 weeks ago
