Well I actually grew up about 20min north of there. We used to know a guy that we would give some cash and he always let us into Brick Street and 45 East when we were in high school. But just before moving to Cali 5 years ago I was somewhat of a regular at Mac & Joe's.

Mac & Joe's ha! Good times....I was a bouncer at brick street for a year. Never has a job been so awesome and shitty at the same time.

So finally had my code show a code of P0520(oil pressure). I immediately checked the oil and it was still at a perfect level so off to the dealer I went. Ended up needed an oil pressure sending unit replaced.

So another member tipped me off to a good deal on a Slime air compressor for $30, so I bought 3(2 for Christmas gifts and 1 for myself).

Well I finally got to play with it today and must say I'm impressed! It aired up one tire, 35x12.50r17 nitto mud grappler, from 10psi to 30psi in less than 8 minutes.

That's a pic of my timer that I was running. Only problem is, it states to only run it for 15min at most and then let cool for 10 min before using again. So with all 4 aired down it'll take about 40min.

Please bring all three to the rubicon run to air up. We'll help you put them back in the box when your done so you can still give them as gifts. :thumb:

Cool!

Unscrew the plug and check the size(amps) the fuse is and always carry a few extra. I have that same Slime compressor. I throw it in the back and use it all the time. It goes through fuses every now and then.....

Oh yeah. I never let it cool down. I got it on super blow out sale when Kragens changed over to Oreillys.

I figure when it dies I'll upgrade. And the damned thing is going strong 4+ years. Lol

2 are already gone to my brother and Dad. Don't worry, I'll bring a straw to manually start blowing up the others while I'm waiting for the compressor to cool down ;)

Just got off the phone with discount tire direct and placed an order for a set of 37x12.50r17 Nitto Trail Grapplers

You cant beat their deals and I must say that T.C. hooked me up! If your thinking of going with a different business for your tires, I'd seriously consider calling them directly and mention the forum. I can guarantee you they will treat you right and give you a great deal(got much better than the pic showed above). They've got a new loyal customer for my future new tires!

What are you going to do with your 35 Mud Grapplers?

There's a lady I work with who's daughter has a 2014 Sport. Shes wanting a lift and tires and everything but the shop she spoke to was going to ream her and give crap parts while they were at it...well Im going to run a deal past her forall my current suspension, wheels, and tires plus install it for her for dirt cheap. My guess is that when she finds out the hit that her MPG will take, with big tires like she wants, she may change her mind! In that event I'll be selling them and the '13 Rubi wheels already mounted and balanced :thumb:

Sounds like a great deal for whom ever gets them.

I can only imagine the hit on the gas milage.

Did you happen to call them directly and discuss the price you found them for? I used the number in the signature box of Discount Tire member account and talked to them about pricing. I don't like to talk dollars, when a business gives me a deal, but I'm sure they would do the same for anyone. I just said..."hey I am looking for a deal on 5 blah blah blah" they told me a price and I said "I'm an active member of Wayalife and you guys are a sponsor on there, do you give any discounts" ....and they hooked me up! No back room dealings outside of good customer service! If discount tire happens to read all of this tell T.C. that he did a good job getting a new loyal customer! :tumb:

I am currently averaging 14-15mpg (15.5 if I really baby it and mostly highway) :icon_crazy:
