Aslo just a reminder that the shot glasses will be given away in the parking lot sat morning! I will be printing names out and having Steve(keep reading) pull them from a bag. You must be there to win them so if you some how do not show in the morning your name will not be put in! Also If you have already one a set from another event or pull i ask that you respectfully take your name out so that others may win! Thanks again!

Lol I like how you throw my name in there! I would have pulled my name out anyway since I already have some.

Ok guy after talking to a number of people about wanting a trip to Rausch creek in the near future we came up with this saturday! This trip out we are going to have it open it everyone that wants to wheel, depending on the size of the group and rigs we will be running greens and light blues (also we will be running some trails that have purple/black loops/off shoots for people wanting to test the waters, this part is 100% optional. with that being said steve and i have talked about mainly spotting people through trail). This is a great time to come for new wheelers or owners, as it will be almost a 101 type day, also this is a good place to start if you have a stock jeep and wish to sit/ride in other jeeps(so if your on the fence about a lift or tire size now is the time). If you have any questions at all please post up or PM me! We also please ask that you have a CB in your rig, (recommended)!

No banned members allowed on this run. THIS RUN WILL BE CAPPED AT 20 RIG'S

As of right now only maybe members can get on the run, If you are interested please still post and you can be wait listed.

WOW congrads on year one man! Someday we will see you out there.

Thank you I appreciate it, I have tried to make it to a couple but it just wasn't in the cards between keeping the wife and military happy. I have every other weekend off now so maybe I'll be able to make one at some point now.

Wow, so much effort is being made by so many to get ready for this trip.

I made a mount for the CB and portable to go on the glove box door or on the console.

How do you like your uniden CB, was debating getting one

It's OK. Not great, but good for short distances and not a bad price. I also have a Midland handheld and the Uniden is better than the handheld. I only ever use it on the trail. If I want distance, I use my HAM radio.

Here is a crazy idea:

So, I was wondering, I am guessing that we will find a scenic place, or have lunch at Lake Christie. What do you think about setting up a zip line across the lake? Just to have a bit of fun between trails?

Would there be any rules against it? Has anyone ever swam in lake Christie? I have only ever seen it frozen over so I don't know what the water is like?

Just a thought.

That looks like a rifle butt rest. If so, what type and where do you secure the barrel? It looks like it's too far from anything to secure a barrel mount bracket to. Just curious.
